I recently stayed at Residenza Romantica for a few days. The location was perfect, just steps away from the Spanish steps. Mister Joe, the helpful staff member, gave us great recommendations for dining and activities in Rome. The rooms, although small, were clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this residence for its unique charm and convenient location.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

Perfect location. Hotel is small but it has nicely designed and clean room. Cheap enough. If I go Rome again, I'll stay at this hotel.
Breakfast is inclusive but poor.

Great location, few steps away from spanish steps. Very clean rooms and linens are all set up great. I just wished that I knew how to turn on the heater, it was a cold spring rainy evening. The staff was super and friendly, check in was a breeze. I will definitely stay here again. Wished they have a weekly rate...
Instructuions on how to use the heater.

The value for money was excellent, with a clean and quiet room. The location was perfect, close to all the popular sites, yet surprisingly peaceful. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was a wider variety of food options.

The location was perfect... walking distance from everything. The room was clean and modern and the shower was perfect. The hotel staff were really friendly and breakfast was included which was great. The minibar was reasonably priced when compared to the rest of Rome.
There wasn't much storage which was fine for a long weekend but may have been a problem if you were staying for much longer. There are no tea/coffee making facilities, but you do get tea or coffee brought for you for breakfast. The reception is not manned 24 hours which made checking in late quite difficult.

Localization
There is no facilities to reach the hotel, and we had to cary heavy bags through the spanish steps, so I advise any traveler to bring just a litte bag/suitcase if wish to stay in this b&B. Is qualified as hotel, but is more like a b&B. Very expensive for what they offer. We had vouchers for breakfast, but the coffee served was horrid and no breakfast included for children, so we had to pay for a hot chocolate for our child, which also was horrid. We ended up having breakfast in a different place and not using the one provided by the Residenza. Polite staff, but not good value for money.

Location, we got a very good price.
Very little natural light, windows looked out on to walls, but then the location was excellent and price was good.

A bit difficult to find the entrance but once we got in, everything was great. It's right near the Spanish steps and close to the Trevi Fountain and the subway stop. I would definitely recommend this hotel because of a reasonable price and perfect location. (It's easy to use the subway system in Rome, btw).
It's tough to find the entrance; our taxi driver phoned them for help. They should have a bigger sign and make it easier for guests to get in. Also a long haul down the stairs with luggage. But I am nitpicking!

Value for money b&b ( I pay 65 euro for double room with breakfast).clean enough. Excellent place (20 meters from Spanish steps).
Room 101 have serious problem with noises from the drainage.if you want to wake up early in the morning it's the perfect place!the lovely lady prepares the breakfast at 7am and because of the "excellent noise proof" walls you can hear everything.

We liked the location and the fact that even in the city centar it was calm and quite just what you need after day in busy Rome streets. The breakfast in bed was great although it could have couple of more choices.
The breakfast could have more selection !

English assistance is needed, as well as hotel city map and friendlier public area (including WC for those leaving late).
Location, design of the rooms.

It is nothing I expect. There is no lift facility and I actually have to lift the bags down and then up the steep staircases which is totally unexpected. We have 2 big luggages and it is not suitable for people with heavy suitcases. It is a long way to walk down to the accomodation which is at the base of the building.

Location, nothing more.
I booked two double rooms but I didn't get it. They gave me one apartment then. There was not enough space for 4 people. One of us was forced to go to another hotel. Because of the situation they promissed me to give a discount but when my mother (she doesn't speak english) went to pay, they didn't give her any discount. They have taken the opportunity that she doesn't speak english and they have stolen her money...horrible... It is not a hotel, rather b&b - no metter what it is, it is very hard to find...Staff unhelpful... I haven't seen smaller breakfast then breakfast at residenza domizia never before

The location is great, practically on top of Spanish steps. Room as clean as can be. Very friendly.
Well the main entrance sets you back and at that point you start regretting you booked there, but that is the worst thing so don't worry just step in. The only other thing was some workers carrying boxes under our window at 06:00 on Saturday morning, wasn't really the hour I wanted to wake up after a late night.
